Dream Hollywood

dream Hollywood

Over the weekend I went to the Dream Hollywood hotel with a couple friends to relax and have lunch at the Highlight Room, which is their rooftop area/restaurant. I love going to the Highlight Room and was there a lot during the summer when it was pool party season, but now that it’s January I still go up there whenever I want to go to a rooftop on a Saturday or Sunday. The hotel is gorgeous and just opened last year, and it’s in an area of Hollywood that I actually don’t mind as much as the dreaded walk of fame that I avoid at all costs (you’ll get it if you’re from LA too!). They’re actually giving the area a huge makeover – aside from the Dream, they also opened Beauty & Essex and Avenue which are both amazing as well. If you live in LA or are planning on visiting Hollywood, the portion of Selma Avenue (the street that the Dream hotel is on, Selma just off Cahuenga) between Wilcox and Vine is so fun and developed now and one of my other favorite rooftops Mama Shelter happens to be just down the block from the Dream.

After the Dream we headed over to Franklin & Co to meet up with a bunch of girls we know from Style Collective, which is a membership only resource for style and beauty bloggers all over the country and around the world to get access to the most current information for bloggers on how to succeed and make money from your site! That was fun too and I never really go up to Franklin so it was something different.

Thank you to Liz and Kit for taking these pictures!
