LA Arts District

Recently my friend Liz from Liz In Los Angeles and I went to explore the LA arts district just outside of downtown LA. When I say “explore”, I don’t mean either of us had never seen it before, I mean we walked around, took outfit pictures and grabbed a snack at Zinc – but the word explore to me sounds much better than “I live in DTLA 10 minutes from the arts district, go there all the time and know it like the back of my hand”! The LA arts district is kind of like Venice in that there are a ton of colorful murals to look at and lots of interesting street art. And as you can probably imagine from the name, it’s a pretty dynamic area that is always changing and adding new street art, cafes, and shops, so it’s always fun to go there with a friend and immerse yourself in that scene for a bit.

This day wasn’t actually “cold” by any standards (I think it was about 80 degrees) but I thought I would show you guys this awesome and of course faux/vegan fur coat for those of you who do live in a cold climate! It’s perfect for layering a sweater underneath and wearing with some jeans and over the knee boots plus a cute beanie and mittens. I got this coat last year so this exact one is no longer available, but I’m linking a few of my favorite faux fur jackets below just to provide some amazing alternatives. The exact shirt is this one and since I love vegan leather, when I saw it I had to pick it up and it’s such good quality for the price you pay!
