Exploring Venice Beach

exploring Venice beach

It’s getting a little cooler here in Southern California and I’ve finally been able to wear some sweaters and heavier clothing (click here to see my top fall and winter coat options)! The other day I was out and about back on Abbot Kinney in Venice (it’s one of my favorite streets in all of LA) and this time I rented a bike for three hours and went all around Venice, from the boardwalk to the canals to lunch at the Butcher’s Daughter. Exploring Venice Beach is always fun because it’s such a unique area with tons of street art and local boutiques and cafes, including my favorites the Butcher’s Daughter, Kreation and Fala Bar which are all very vegan friendly and delicious! You can see the last post I shot in Venice by clicking here.

The canals are a really beautiful tranquil area of Venice that were actually built to resemble the canals of Venice, Italy, but with palm trees! It’s a really peaceful neighborhood that is always nice to go take a walk through if you’re in Venice. A lot of the houses have really interesting LA specific architecture too if you’re interested in design.
