Fashion Month Part 1

Recently I got home from traveling to New York and throughout Europe and it was a crazy dream come true – I still can’t even believe I did it! The reason why I did all that traveling was to attend fashion week in New York, London, and Paris, but also to have some fun and explore Europe more. I was away for a month and since I was gone for that long I have a lot of pictures and content to share from my trip so I thought it would be perfect to share all of that in a post or two, starting with New York and London and then Amsterdam and Paris. I’m also working on a post to show what I was up to for fashion month in Europe as far as shows, presentations, showroom appointments, etc, but wanted to focus on what I did in my free time first! You can see what I did for this past NYFW here, here and here.

How I actually scheduled my fashion month trip was like this: I spent a week and a half in New York, then flew to London for six days, spent three days in Amsterdam, and a week in Paris. I’ve been to London and Paris before but this was my first time visiting Amsterdam and I loved it! One thing I’ll say is I absolutely love the train mentality in Europe. Because each country is so small and ground transportation from place to place is pretty quick (especially on those high speed trains) taking the train is super popular and the train stations are so busy and exciting and just a fun atmosphere overall. I know here at home taking the train is more of a thing on the east coast than the west coast, also because of the fact that the east coast states are much smaller and there are more big cities packed closer together. I’ve taken the train from Penn Station in NYC to DC and that was nice. I do love flying but dislike how long of a process it is versus how casual and efficient taking the train is! My favorite station is for sure King’s Cross in London (huge Harry Potter fan here) because not only is it so beautiful and modern architecturally but I get to see the Platform 9 and 3/4 statue and visit the gift shop!

I apologize if this is just way too many pictures for one post haha! I’m the person who takes 20 shots of the same exact thing just to make sure I got the perfect angle (blogger problems!) Check out my fashion month pictures and let me know if you’ve been to any of these places!

New York

Starting out with an event I went to in NYC, this faux fur coat (here) is seriously such good quality and very sophisticated. I also love this pink velvet cami (click here) because of how comfortable but stylish it is:

This brown faux leather bucket bag (here) below is the purse that I’ve been using nonstop lately. The vegan leather is so soft and feels super luxurious and yet this bag is less than $80!

This light wash denim jacket (get it here) is perfect for fall, especially if you live in a warm climate. It keeps you warm but it’s very light so you won’t be sweating in this!
