New York City! ShopStyle Social House + 3 Favorite Activities

So with my recent trip to New York City, I spent most of my time doing NYFW related things, but also took some time to go and do some non work related stuff. I wanted to share with you guys some pictures from the ShopStyle Social House that I went to with my friend Ashley, as well as three of my favorite things to do whenever I’m in New York!

The ShopStyle Social House was an all day event held at Canoe Studios in Chelsea with a beautiful rooftop view of Manhattan and different brands handing out accessories and other goodies to everyone who attended! They had this beautiful backdrop for taking pictures, and you could also get your nails done and just generally relax and unwind from the madness of fashion week. One thing that I thought was so fun was that they were renting out amazing clothes so that we could all take pictures in them and then mail them back to ShopStyle at the end of the week! I got two dresses that I was in love with, but I unfortunately didn’t get the chance to photograph them because when I got home I found out my checked bag was left in San Francisco 🙁 Regardless, I loved the concept of borrowing the clothes and I did get that mishap fixed.

Moving on to my favorite things to do in the city:

Top NYC Activities

1.World Trade Center Memorial

So the first top New York City activity I would highly recommend is the World Trade Center memorial, and when I say memorial I’m including the museum, the new One World Trade Center tower, the Oculus and the new Westfield mall (pictured below), as well as the memorial itself. There’s a ton of stuff to do and look at all within a small radius, so I would allot 4-5 hours to this if you really want to see and do everything that I mentioned.

2.Brooklyn Bridge

This one is pretty touristy but still so fun. Starting from the Brooklyn end of the bridge, I walked the length of the Brooklyn Bridge into lower Manhattan. The views of the city are incredible and you will actually feel like you’re on top of the world!

3.Greenwich Village

This is one of my favorite neighborhoods in New York City because it’s so fun and vibrant. It’s also home to the flagship By Chloe location, which is one of my favorite restaurants of all time, and the new Sweets by Chloe right next door. There are so many interesting stores and restaurants in Greenwich that it’s a must-do when you’re in New York City.

Bonus: Times Square

Yes this one is obvious, but I still had to include it because this list wouldn’t be complete without it. Times Square is amazing and if you’re in New York City you have to see it!

Here are the rest of my favorite NYC pictures, which include the cutest little coffee/tea bar Cha Cha Matcha and a fruit display at the most beautiful Whole Foods of all time in Columbus Circle! Thanks for reading!
