NYFW Day 3 + 4

Okay! So this is my NYFW Day 3 + 4 recap. I think I’ll do one more post for days 5 and 6, then wrap it up with one last NYC post on what I did in the city when not working!

So on Friday, which was Day 3 of NYFW for me, I went to three shows. I was supposed to go to a fourth (Avid Swim) but missed it because of my own silly mistake. The shows I went to are as follows:

  1. Dan Liu
  2. Lan Yu
  3. Chromat

I started my day off at 10:00 a.m. with Dan Liu, who is a Chinese Canadian designer. His show started with a performance art piece and then the designer sang as models walked the runway for the finale! The show was so interesting that I wanted to include the full video of it (but unfortunately it doesn’t have the original audio from the show) – check it out below!

His collection was very wearable and modern and I had a great time at the show!

Next at 11:00 a.m. was Lan Yu. The collection was gorgeous and these photos don’t properly do it justice, but I was only working with my iPhone as I didn’t have space to bring my DSLR. The collection used such beautiful pastel colors; it was very feminine, Parisian inspired and so pretty.

After Lan Yu, I had a little bit of a break between shows, so I went to a couple events with friends! I’ll do a separate post with pictures of all the things I did during my off time in NYC.

So after my break I had Chromat, which was a really cool and futuristic swimwear and lingerie show! Check out some of my favorite looks from the Chromat runway:

On Saturday the 11th I had 3 shows plus the ShopStyle Social House, which was a blast! I’ll post pictures from that and talk more about what else happened on Saturday in an upcoming post. But my Saturday shows were in this order:

  1. Tibi
  2. Georgine
  3. Francesca Liberatore

First up was Tibi with a super chic menswear inspired collection. I absolutely loved the fit of these pieces, I think all of these outfits are so flattering:

Overall just a stunning collection!

After Tibi came Georgine, which if I had to describe in one word would be glamorous! The collection was edgy and I loved the tall boots with the following two outfits:

My final show on Saturday was Francesca Liberatore, which was also very feminine and soft. This collection almost reminded me of a fairy tale, check out my favorite looks below:

Thank you for reading this, and stay tuned for my next and final NYFW post, days 5 and 6!
